Wandering Garden

On the surface of a puddle, raindrops beat out an irregular rhythm. They form small ripples, then leap away, scattering in unexpected directions. Like my thoughts, they jump and land in places that were never meant to be reached.

Their traces seemed broken, scattered beyond repair. But when I looked more closely, faint signs of connection still remained among them. Clinging to those signs as if to a single thin thread, I began to piece the traces together.
