Ceiling Motifs | Enigma Town Lab
Field Log
The tower rising in the center of town is a three-story structure built entirely of stone, featuring an open atrium design. Its interior feels far more spacious than I had imagined.
Tall bookshelves line every wall, packed to the brim. The air is thick with the scent of mold and dust. Aside from a few desks and chairs, there’s little else—the entire building seems to have been conceived as one vast archive.
As the investigation progressed, I noticed a rather intriguing discrepancy. Judging from the exterior, the tower’s height should be roughly twenty meters. Yet measurements taken from the ground floor to the ceiling of the top level fall short of fifteen. It’s unlikely to be a mere design oversight. Structurally speaking, it’s far more plausible that another space exists above the visible ceiling.
I can’t help thinking that there must be a hidden door somewhere in that motif-covered ceiling.

When the motifs are divided into animals and plants, a rule becomes apparent in the placement of the animals. Only one section, marked by the red frame below, breaks this rule.
